You possess a foreign school leaving certificate which entitles access to higher education (= university entrance qualification) and would like to apply for an assessment within the framework of an Austrian secondary school for general education that enables a basic evaluation of comparability with an Austrian school-leaving qualification.

Please note that, depending on the country and education system, additional qualifications may be required for an assessment at the level of the Austrian secondary school leaving qualification, e.g. proof of university entrance examinations and/or successfully completed periods of study at a publicly recognised university.

In order to ensure fast processing, we recommend that applicants with foreign secondary school qualifications from third countries (non-EU/EFTA countries) upload additional proof of university entrance examinations and successfully completed periods of study.

If the requirements for an assessment with the Austrian secondary school leaving qualification are not met, only an assessment with an end-of-year school report (without Austrian secondary school leaving qualification) can be issued.
